Baby Doge is a deflationary cryptocurrency designed to become scarcer as time passes, generating a profit per transaction for every person who holds it.
One of Baby Doge's main objectives is to support foundations and donate to charities that help dogs in poor conditions.
In April 2022, they launched their first 2D collection of 10,000 NFTs. In less than a month, it generated over 1.5MDD in transactions, of which 400,000 USD was donated to the ASPCA, HumaneSociety, BestFriends, and AnimalLeague foundations.
In partnership with BabyDoge, Galileo has developed a new 3D collection expected to be launched in 2022 along with its wearables for the Decentraland platform. Learn more →
For this project consisting of 10,000 NDFs made from more than 250 3D models assigned as unique traits, it was necessary to develop the essential tools in Blender and Python that would allow us to automatically render each of the NFTs and set each of their traits based on the existing metadata of their first 2D collection.
This collection has the particular feature of not being layered as most 3D collections do, in which images with transparent backgrounds are superimposed. Instead, each NFT is generated and rendered independently, which gives the image a more integrated style, where each of the properties is affected by everything that surrounds it.
