Along with its vehicle access technology, Parkimovil also improved pedestrian access solutions. In this project, we were able to create a system that identifies people entering and leaving an establishment faster and more accurately than other more traditional methods.

When designing this module, it was necessary to consider all peripheral elements, such as: the camera, tablet, QR reader, QR code, and the interaction between them. The main objective of this project was to address user accessibility to achieve ease of use and deliver a seamless experience between the user and After some research, we successfully integrated the peripherals with a tablet that worked as a QR reader and could also perform facial recognition. This enhancement allowed us to minimize the complexity of the design and make it simpler and more modern.

This module was designed for a low production cost and to guarantee functionality even outdoors, which is why the design was focused on sheet metal manufacturing.

The facial recognition module is already installed in various locations to control pedestrian access through a QR code generated by Parkimovil once registered in its platform, giving them access to different places based on their entry permits and verifying that the person using the QR is the same person registered in its database, through facial recognition.
